Biography:
Mr. Muhammad Wasif Bashir Babar is a seasoned development professional, climate change consultant, and project manager with over 15 years of experience in humanitarian response, climate resilience, WASH, health, and policy advocacy. He holds a Master's in Environmental Science (Sustainable WASH & Health Development) from COMSATS Abbottabad and a Master's in Sociology from Punjab University Lahore. Currently, he serves as an International Climate Change Consultant for the Lyari Elevated Freight Corridor (LEFC) Project in Karachi, focusing on climate risk assessments and adaptation planning. Additionally, he is a Senior Program Officer at RDF and Mercy Corps, leading sustainable WASH and climate adaptation projects. With extensive experience in managing large-scale programs, Wasif has worked on rainwater harvesting, water conservation, and infrastructure projects in collaboration with government agencies and international organizations. He is also a Master Facilitator for the British Council’s Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative, training young leaders in social and environmental change. Having worked in 18+ countries, he specializes in cross-cultural communication, strategic partnerships, and global collaboration, with a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Personal Information:
