Rain Water Harvesting
Water scarcity is a pressing issue in many rural areas. RDF’s rainwater harvesting initiatives focus on capturing and storing rainwater for agricultural, domestic, and community use. We implement rainwater harvesting systems, provide training on water conservation techniques, and promote sustainable water management practices to enhance water security and resilience to droughts.
Rural Development Foundation (RDF) has implemented a pioneering initiative by establishing three state-of-the-art water harvest plants in the village Godho and Ghari Afghan to create awareness among communities about water preservation. Community is now using rain water for kitchen gardens and for animals.
