Empowering Youth. Advancing SDGs. Scaling Impact. 🇵🇰

Rural Development Foundation (RDF) hosted a thought-provoking dialogue on “Role of Youth Leadership for Sustainable Development Pakistan” under the SDG Youth Campaign Islamabad, bringing together distinguished leaders to discuss how youth can drive meaningful and lasting development.

The session featured Brig. Aslam Khan, President, RDF; Fatima Jee, Chairperson, One Step for Pakistan; Dr. Sultan Azam Temuri, Founding Director, IG-SI; and Helena Iqbal, Former Addl. IGP & Member, IG-SI.

Driving Climate Action Through Collaboration!

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI), in collaboration with the Rural Development Foundation (RDF), organized an insightful meeting on Climate Change, Water Resources & Global Warming to promote dialogue on one of the most pressing challenges of our time. RCCI President Usman Shaukat, along with Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi, chaired the session, while Vice President Fahad Barlas, executive committee members, and prominent stakeholders attended the event. Distinguished speakers included Brig. (R) Muhammad Aslam Khan, President RDF; Mr. M. Ibraheem, Director Projects RDF; Mr. Wasif Bashir, Senior Program Officer RDF; Ms. Aleeza Waheed, Program Officer RDF; Ms. Sara Mehmood, Manager WWF-Pakistan; and Mr. Talat Mehmood Awan, Chairman RCCI Standing Committee on Climate Change. RDF & GBTI Join Hands for Climate-Resilient Water Solution

Rural Development Foundation of Pakistan (RDF) was honoured to host Mr. Malik Fateh Khan, Chief Executive Officer of Ghazi Barotha Taraqiati Idara (GBTI), at the RDF Head Office.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration for the Climate Resilient Solar Powered Community Drinking Water System for Water-Stressed Rural Communities in Pakistan, which is being implemented in Village Rama, Tehsil Gujar Khan.

Both organizations discussed future strategies to promote climate resilience, improve access to safe drinking water, and enhance the well-being of rural communities through sustainable, renewable energy solutions.
