Their focus was on the techniques for forming raised beds, and they shared valuable insights with the garden caretaker on natural composting methods and strategies for maintaining a healthy and thriving kitchen garden at RDF.🪴🎍🍃🍂🌹

Attended 22nd Asia Water Council (AWC), board meeting and Technical Seminar held at Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 27 -28 Feb 2025.
It was a great and productive interaction with Ministers and water experts from Asia to find out solutions for water scarcity and climate change.

A productive strategic meeting was held on March 10th, 2025, at the Zakat Foundation office, marking the beginning of a promising collaboration between the Rural Development Foundation (RDF) and the Zakat Foundation. Represented by Zakat Foundation’s CD Mr. Fazal Ur Rehaman and RDF’s CEO Brig (R) Aslam Khan, Director Projects Muhammad Ibraheem, and Senior Program Officer Wasif Basheer, the meeting focused on a shared commitment to empowering rural communities. Discussions centered on joint initiatives in poverty alleviation, sustainable development, and skill enhancement, aimed at creating meaningful and lasting change. This collaborative spirit reinforces our dedication to building a future where rural communities in Pakistan flourish






A productive meeting was held at RDF Headquarters in Islamabad on February 26, 2025, with Mr. Waqar Rasheed, Country Director of PCR, to explore collaboration in education, skills development, and poverty eradication. Both teams outlined key action items, including a follow-up meeting, a collaborative program, and launching the DigiCake model project. Excitement for a strong partnership was evident throughout.
