Access to safe drinking water begins with understanding water quality. Rural Development Foundation (RDF) conducted water sample collection in Village Gorsiyan, Tehsil Gujar Khan, District Rawalpindi under the project “Climate-Resilient, Solar-Powered Community Drinking Water Systems for Water-Stressed Rural Communities in Pakistan.”

The activity was carried out with reference to national water quality standards and in coordination with relevant technical frameworks, including the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources (PCRWR), ensuring that laboratory testing and analysis of local water sources is guided by credible scientific protocols.
The laboratory testing of these water samples will provide vital scientific evidence to support sustainable, climate-resilient water solutions and strengthen efforts to ensure safe drinking water for rural communities.
Because every community deserves water that is not only available—but safe.
